"A faint blue glow from the ceiling reflects on the surface of this dark, murky pool. Water trickles down the walls and drips from the stalactite forest high overhead, causing ripples in all directions. A small sand and driftwood island rises from the pool’s center."
The pool is 1-2 feet deep around the island, but 6-8 feet deep elsewhere. It is nearly 12 feet deep in the western nook, which is the submerged cave lair of a voracious predator—a monstrous crayfish.
