Madame Delia is an enormous 25-stone woman with a fondness for absurdly elegant gowns and hagshair smoked from a long ivory pipe. The brothel caters to exotic tastes employing performers from a variety of races possessing a range of talents and dispositions. It’s a raucous establishment where the performers (who are referred to as toddies) carouse openly with the guests in the common room.
